HTC Group has now released a mobile that falls slightly to the rarer type of HTC phones, as there is a smartphone with full QWERTY keyboard. And when the sister series Desire HD already has received more media coverage than good, it almost goes without saying that Desire Z will be a huge sales success.

Description
The phone is less than Desire HD, where the display is "only" measures 3.7 "(it is worth mentioning that this still lies in the higher end to mobile screens, which are otherwise the same size as the old Desire and bigger than iPhone 4's display).
The buttons on the QWERTY keyboard is full-bodied and has a slightly curved shape which makes them easy to "feel their way to" so to speak. The keyboard claps out, in the sense that it flaps up and looked, instead of out under. It works well and sturdy.
The phone measures 119 x 60.4 x 14.16 mm and weighs 180 grams (slightly more than Desire HD, but there is after all a physical keyboard attached).
At the bottom you'll find an optical trackpad, which is especially useful when you scroll through text. The usual HTC buttons that are known from several other models from the manufacturer, is also looking at the bottom.

The processor is an 800 MHz Qualcomm CPU, which provides speed and quick navigation through the phone. Desire Z is the cheaper mobile Desire in the series, which is why the slightly less CPU (up to 1 GHz), but it is seriously seldom notice it. And for the price, it's quite a few mobiles that stick Desire Z (if any at all do).
Smartphone also has 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and geo-tagging (using the built-in GPS, which also has A-GPS support) and there is also the ability to record in 720p, also known as high definition!
Supported Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, and of course WiFi (wireless internet). It comes with a full 1.5 GB of internal memory, so there is plenty of room for all kinds of apps you download from the Android Marketplace.
The phone also offers excellent 5 megapixel camera (same size as the iPhone 4) with LED flash, auto focus and geo-tagging. With 1.5 GB of internal memory you can not just run out of space and with 3.5 mm audio jack lets you listen to music on your phone, use your regular headphones.
